Ancaster's Tiffany Falls is one of many natural wonders you’ll find along the Niagara Escarpment, a World Biosphere Reserve. The site is accessible from Wilson Street, between Main Street West and Ancaster’s village core, with a small parking area available for public use. Pay-and-display parking fees apply.

It takes just a few minutes to walk to the base of the falls to view the natural rock exposures of the Tiffany Creek valley. The falls have a total approximate height of 24.5 metres.

The Hamilton Conservation Authority manages the seven-hectare Tiffany Falls Conservation Area. The wilderness area has a footpath that crosses Tiffany Creek in two locations. There’s also a viewing platform that provides an up-close look at the waterfall. Hikers should not venture beyond the viewing platform.

If you’re planning to go for a hike, be sure to wear appropriate hiking boots. Watch your step, as the trails can be rocky and hilly.

The conservation authority advises hikers to know their abilities and to always hike with a partner.
