Add Russian drama and romance to your summer with Elena Clark’s novel, Music of the Wandering Stars.

Set against a backdrop of pre-perestroika Russia, the story centres on an ambitious and ruthless musician, and the opera singer who falls for his charm.

Clark was born in Kiev and grew up with the hardships of life in the former Soviet Union. With a degree in math, she immigrated to Canada and built a successful career as an information technology specialist.

After work, at her family home in Dundas, Clark dedicates time to her passion for writing. She draws on her vivid imagination, interest in human psychology and her love of history to take readers from Russian pre-revolution to the present.

Clark will be on hand to sign copies of her book and to meet the public at Ancaster’s Indigo Books on Sunday, June 10, from noon to 4 p.m.
