The annual Festitalia celebration, with events almost every day, is underway.

Tonight (Thursday) there’s an Italian dinner cruise on the Hamilton Harbour Queen. Boarding is at 6 p.m. at Pier 8, Discovery Drive. Tickets are $65; call 905-777-8970.

On Saturday, Festitalia goes to the Hamilton Farmers Market. From 10 a.m. until noon, strolling musicians Joe Suffoletta and Maria Giavedoni will be singing traditional Italian songs. At noon, chef Mark Farrugia from La Piazza Allegra Italian Ristoranti will give a cooking demonstration and from 1-4 p.m., there will be Festitalia children’s crafts presented by Roma Imperia Lodge.

On Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. until noon at Fortinos, 65 Mall Rd., it’s the Fortinos Grape Stomp competition for the John Fortino Memorial Trophy.

That night at 8 p.m., it’s Nonna’s Party featuring Ashley Burton at the Hamilton Place Molson Canadian Studio Theatre Tickets start at $30; call 855-872-5000.

The mission of Festitalia Corporation is to develop and promote a festival of significant impact that shares and promotes Italian culture and heritage with the community-at-large.
