LETTER: Keep up the fight for home mail delivery

re: Editorial cartoon (May 21)

Mike Vukovitch is correct.

The fight is heating up, and not just locally.

People are tired of seeing their social rights being taken away by a government bent on enriching its wealthy corporate friends.

By its own study, Canada Post said that by reinstating ‘postal banking’ (offering financial services alongside traditional postal products) it could not only sustain the present level of door-to-door delivery, but could bring it back for all Canadians. We won’t take the attack on our social rights anymore!

I invite all concerned Hamiltonian citizens to come join me on Brucedale Avenue between East 28th and Upper Sherman weekdays (from 6:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
