Police standoff at Tafalgar Street house ends

UPDATE: The incident is over. The suspect surrendered peacefully. We're waiting on more information.

 

London police have surrounded a residence at 859 Trafalgar Street after they responded to a report of a man with outstanding warrants inside the house at about 10 a.m. this morning.

Trafalgar is now closed from Anderson Avenue to Pegler Street. It's believed police are communicating with the man, though it's not been reported if he's armed and it's not yet known which warrants the man has against him.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
