Mountain Kidz Klub looking for storage bins

News Jan 07, 2015 Hamilton Mountain News

Storage bins and clothing racks are on Mountain Kidz Klub’s wish list to help volunteers sort and store donations of clothing and other items.

The group, which has a home base inside the Eastmount Community Centre, operates a food bank and charitable clothing closet, along with offering programming for children.

Volunteers separate various items — including the numerous donations from the recent Warmth Project clothing drive — for easier access and storage. But they are running out of the plastic storage totes and clothing racks and are making an appeal to the public.

Donations can be dropped off Sundays from 2-4 p.m. or Wednesdays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Eastmount Community Centre, 115 East 16th St.
