Warmth Project drop-off sites

The Warmth Project has begun. The winter clothing drive will ensure everyone who needs outerwear such as mitts, toques and coats will be warm this winter.

The new clothing will be distributed to families in need by Mountain Kidz Klub and other organizations on the Mountain.

Collection bins are in place at a number of locations, including homes taking part in the Mountain News Christmas Lights Tour.

You can drop off your donation of new items in bins located at:

• Fascination Flowers, 1104 Fennell Ave. East

• Peoples Church, 510 Mohawk Rd. West

• Eastmount Community Centre, 115 East 26th St. (during Mountain Kidz Klub programming)

• 120 Fusilier Dr. (home on the Christmas Lights Tour)

• 932 Upper Ottawa St. (home on the Christmas Lights Tour)

• 25 Redbury St. Unit 46 (home on the Christmas Lights Tour)

• 888 Garth St. (home on the Christmas Lights Tour)

• 101 Hardale Cres. (home on the Christmas Lights Tour)

• Hamilton Community News, 333 Arvin Ave.

• Fennell & Gage Home Hardware, 975 Fennell Ave. East

• 64 Magnolia Dr. (home on the Christmas Lights Tour)

The Warmth Project is an initiative of the Mountain News. The City of Hamilton has donated use of the green carts used for collection boxes.
