The Ancaster Midget girls Team Bowden captured the silver medal in the Dundas Girls AA Tournament.

After finishing a successful 2012-13 season with a bronze medal in Division 8 of the OBA’s, the team set its sights on moving up a couple of divisions this year.  Through dedication and determination, team members are well on their way to achieving the goal.

Competing against Division 5&6 teams, Ancaster exhibited its never-give-up attitude and came from behind in all of their games except the final.

“We have a great group of young ladies, from Ancaster, Hamilton and Brantford and finishing second in the tournament is a testament to their commitment and determination,” coach Rob Bowden said.
