News Nov 30, 2012 Stoney Creek News

The Stoney Creek Santa Claus Parade will take place Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. on King Street from Gray Road to Centennial Parkway.

This year's parade will feature new floats and 13 bands, including the Toronto Signals, the Top Hats and the Burlington Teen Tour Band.

More than 8,000 spectators lined the street last year and organizers are hoping for more this time.

As always, the Stoney Creek Lions Club, along with CAA South Central Ontario will be collecting food donations along the route for the Stoney Creek Community Food Bank. Watch for volunteers with shopping carts during the parade.

The parade is produced through the generosity of local business sponsors and the hard work of volunteers. Be sure to come out and welcome Santa.
