Looking out for others

When Hunter Taylor celebrated his sixth birthday Nov. 3, he asked friends to donate food for the Yummie Tummies program at the Neighbour to Neighbour Centre food bank.

His mom Sarah Sunnucks had read about the new program, which is dedicated to food and supplies for babies and children and Hunter wanted to help.

“Because his birthday is so close to Christmas, we have been overwhelmed with presents, so one year we did a toy drive and this year the food bank,” Sunnucks said.

Hunter’s grandparents are in Africa renovating a hospital and have been a big part in teaching the family to give back.
