On Ash Wednesday, St. David Catholic Elementary School kicked off its annual Lenten promise for St. Martin's Manor.

St. Martin's Manor, part of the Catholic Family Services of Hamilton, is a young parent resource centre offering support services for pregnant and parenting young women and their children.

The students from junior kindergarten to Grade 8 donated items such as diapers, infant formula, lotions, baby wipes and infant clothing.
