Dig out your ’60s wear and enjoy a concert in celebration of the United Way Campaign. Groove to the sounds of Void with Al Craig, Jeff Chalmers and Kevin Charles and Hamilton music icon Bob Bryden. All proceeds in support of United Way of Burlington and Greater Hamilton.

“About 80 to 90 street-involved and homeless youth come out to evening program for a quality meal and positive activities that are an alternative to the streets,” said Karen Craig, program director of Living Rock, which is hosting the event.

“They enjoy cultural theme nights, spa services, movies, floor hockey, sports and swimming. Youth are connecting with work and education through relationships built in the evening program.”

The One Love Concert takes place Saturday, Nov. 28, 7-10 p. m. at Living Rock Transit, 30 Wilson St. at Hughson. Cost is $5 and there will also be raffles, flowers, refreshments and prize for the best costume. Advanced tickets are available by calling 905-528-(ROCK)7625, Ext. 23.
