Two suffer serious injury in Ancaster collision

Two people suffered serious injuries after a two-vehicle collision Tuesday morning at Fiddlers Green Road south of Book Road.

A man in his 60s was airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital with serious, but nonlife threatening injuries.

The man’s Volkswagen Jetta collided with a westbound Hummer. The 46-year-old female driver of the Hummer was transported to hospital by land ambulance, suffering multiple fractures and a head injury.

Her injuries are also considered non-life threatening.
