Paramedics help save up to 30 lives in an hour

The Hamilton Paramedic Services recently became a Partner for Life member with Canadian Blood Services, and in doing so, helped save the lives of up to 30 people.

HPS is the first of the city’s three emergency services groups to join the program that gets organizations to promote and actively participate in donating blood.

To help kick off this new partnership, a group of paramedics from Hamilton made 10 blood donations at the Ancaster blood donor clinic.

The donations will directly impact the lives of up to 30 Canadians.
