...just wondering about when it will be over

News Oct 30, 2009 Ancaster News

I work for Hillyard Auto Sales in Hamilton as a customer shuttle driver. I am laid off my job because my licence is expired.

I cannot renew it because the Drive Test workers are all on strike. Therefore, I am out of a job at the moment. It is going to cost me money out of my pocket for me to redo my written G1 and G2 test.

I am in the same boat as thousands of people across Ontario. This has had a huge impact on my life since I have been so used to having a vehicle.

So these days I have to arrange rides weeks in advance and stand at the bus stop wondering when this will all be over.
