Dancers set to thrill fans

Hamilton fans of the television program Dancing with the Stars and So You Think you can Dance are in for a wonderful surprise in May.

The Spring Dancesport Challenge, run out of Winona Vine Estates, will host the North American Show Dance Championships on May 14 and 15.

The best of ballroom, Latin and theatre arts will come together to compete against each other in the same prestigious category.

The event will be televised by Cable 14, and from it, a two-hour television special called Dancesport Challenge will be aired in most areas of southern Ontario.

Organizers are giving away free dinners to the first 250 ticket holders.

Tickets are $65. Those interested in attending the event can go to SpringDancesportChallenge.com.
