Travel to the past with Westfield Halloween

One of Ontario’s best living history museums, Westfield Heritage Village, presents a unique and entertaining Historical Halloween. On Oct. 23 and 24, from 6:30-9:30 p. m., Westfield takes you back to our past with historical buildings, costumed interpreters, live demonstrations and presentations. Tickets are available starting at 6 p. m.

Surrounded by more than 30 historical buildings lit by lantern-light discover the haunted train, learn about Ontario’s pirates and mobsters from the 1920s, visit the Museum of Curiosities, watch Snow White at the two-penny theatre or Red Riding Hood at kid’s storytelling. Many other things are available such as free popcorn, food and treats sold by Ancaster Lions Club, and an exciting gift shop.

Westfield’s special feature this year will be a rarely seen 1901 horse drawn hearse which will mark a spooky graveyard tableau, along with several other rare coaches and wagons of the 25,000 collected.
