Several local celebrities will be putting on fake sideburns and shaking their hips as they do their best Elvis impersonations for Theatre Aquarius.

Mike Fortune (Cable 14), Annette Hamm (CHCH), Gord James (Vinyl 95.3FM), Warwick Jones (Coppley Apparel), Jon Jurus (Investors Group), Jeff Mahoney (Hamilton Spectator), Judy Marsales (Judy Marsales Real Estate Ltd.), P.J. Mercanti (Carmen’s Inc.) and Shari Vandermolen (Nyguard International/Quarter to Nine Productions) will all take to the stage in Discovering Elvis.

The comedy will run in a limited engagement on Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. and Jan.22 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Dofasco Centre for the Arts, 190 King William St.

The plot line is that a snow storm can't stop die-hard Elvis impersonators from showing up to compete in the first round of a competition that could take them to their ultimate goal: headlining in Las Vegas! Which Elvis wins the competition? The audience gets to be the judge.

Tickets are $50 and may be ordered online at www.theatreaquarius.org or by calling the 905-522-7529.
