Award recognizes volunteer efforts of female students

The Zonta Clubs of Hamilton I and II are co-operating once again for the Young Women in Public Affairs Award Program which was established to recognize secondary school female students, 16 to 19 years of age for their volunteer efforts in their school and community.

The program offers monetary awards at the local, district and international levels. Application forms are available on the web-site www.zonta.org

Students can contact their guidance counsellor for more information or Zonta club member Pearl Sojnocki at 905-383-2213. Deadline for submission is January 5, 2011.
