For 27 years, each spring and autumn since 1982, customers have flocked to the Dundas Valley to visit the studios participating in the Beyond the Valley Studio Tour.

Returning to the tour this year are favourite artists Paull Rodrigue, Stephanie King, Michelle Guitard, Terry Osborne, Lori Skinner, Michelle Prosek, Danuta Kamocki, Scott Barnim, Catherine Weir, Pavlo Tsarynny, Oksana Pogorila, Richard Fisher and Tara Lynne Franco. Most of the artists have national and international reputations.

On Oct. 17 and 18 from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. the artists will open their studios to display jewelry, glass, pottery, painting, and textile arts. The event offers a glimpse behind studio doors into the world of an artist where visistors can meet the maker, find a treasure and take it home.

The tradition of Beyond the Valley Studio Tour Bucks continues. For every $10 spent (before taxes, for individual purchases up to $400), visitors get one tour buck to spend at any studio on the tour.

Complete information about the tour is available through www.BeyondTheValley.ca . For more information about the tour and artists, call or email Michelle Prosek at 905-627-2133, michelle@michelleprosek.com .
