Prevent more warfarin casualties with traps

Re: Battle of mice and man continues, Oct. 2 The News.

I, too, have waged war on mice and learned the hard way to prefer traps over warfarin. Mice do crawl away to die, with stomach full of warfarin. Unfortunately, a dying mouse is easy prey for your dog, the neighbour’s dog or cat, or a fox, owl or coyote. That animal will then die a slow, painful death of warfarin, which causes internal bleeding.

You would be better off with traps, and so would other animals. I am no fan of PETA but I would hate to see more Warfarin casualties.
