If you are a woman who would like to help survivors of sexual violence, consider becoming a crisis line volunteer. Once trained, you volunteer from home. Screening takes place now for the next training program, beginning Sept. 1.

The 16-week program runs Wednesday evenings. As part of SACHA’s work against racism and other oppressions, it strives to reflect the diversity of the communities. Women who are First Nations, Métis, immigrant, refugee, lesbian, bisexual, women from racialized communities, women with disabilities, and trans women are encouraged.
