The School of the Arts at McMaster presents Canada’s premiere piano duo Anagnoson & Kinton as part of the Celebrity Concert Series. The performance takes place on Friday, Oct. 16 at 8 p. m. in Convocation Hall at McMaster University.

Now in their third remarkable decade of performance, the Canadian piano duo of Anagnoson & Kinton has enchanted audiences throughout the United States, Europe, China and Russia. Here at home, they have performed in every province and territory and have appeared with orchestras in numerous cities including Toronto, Calgary, Winnipeg and Halifax.

Anagnoson & Kinton’s recordings are extensive. Since 1981, their nine titles have included works for two pianos, two pianos with orchestra, and one piano four hands. In 2006, a special compilation CD entitled Stages celebrating their milestone 30th season was launched to great acclaim.

As both performers and scholars, Anagnoson & Kinton hold distinguished places in academic circles. James Anagnoson is the Dean of The Glenn Gould School, Royal Conservatory of Music. Leslie Kinton is on the faculties at both The Glenn Gould School and the University of Western Ontario.
