The Ancaster Men’s Slo Pitch League hosts its first annual charity tournament during Ancaster Heritage Days, June 12 and 13.

The list of recipient charities includes Ancaster Community Services, Hamilton Burlington SPCA, Ancaster Little League, Canadian Tire Jump Start Program, Ronald McDonald House, World Vision, Help a Child Smile Foundation and the Christmas Tree of Hope. Councillor Lloyd Ferguson will attend the last game on June 12 at 3:30 to throw the ceremonial first pitch. The home run derby takes place on diamond 3. Only ASA 2004 bats rated at 98 mph are allowed.
