Ancaster Masters place first, second and third at Milton Spring Splash

The Ancaster Masters Swim Club came in first, second and third in nearly every event entered at last Sunday's 13th Annual Spring Splash in Milton, Ont.

The Club battled competition from across the GTA including Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Etobicoke, and Burlington.

The team also featured mother-daughter swimmers Linda Vanderhout and Shelley Vanderhout.

Coach Herb de Bray continues to be impressed with the standings and is expects to see more personal bests broken at the London Masters Swimming Ontario Provincials being held March 19-21.

Provincial record

Currently, Doreen King holds the provincial age group record for a variety of Breaststroke events including 50m, 100, and 200.

Mike Carnegie will set out to defend his 2010 Ontario age group record for 200m individual medley.
