Councillor hosts New Year’s Levee this Sunday at Ancaster Old Town Hall

Ancaster Councillor Lloyd Ferguson hosts a New Year’s Levee this Sunday, Jan. 17 from 2-4 p. m. at the Ancaster Old Town Hall.

A presentation begins at 2 p. m. Ferguson said guests will have an opportunity to speak their mind during a question and answer period. Conservative MP David Sweet will also be on hand to answer questions. Liberal MPP Ted McMeekin was invited but is unable to attend.

“I don’t want to spend a long time talking,” Ferguson said. “I want to listen.”

Potential discussion topics include the city’s new official plan, recreational facility upgrades and traffic issues.

City-wide issues such as the 2015 Pan Am Games, Light Rail Transit and budget issues will be discussed.
