Power has been restored on the east Mountain after an outage Thursday left more than 3,800 homes and businesses without electricity.

Alectra Utilities said the outage, which spanned the area around Pritchard Road and Upper Gage Avenue and from Rymal Road East to Larch Street, was first reported just before 2 p.m. All power is expected to be fully restored just before 7:30 p.m.

The outage was caused by an “underground distribution problem,” according to Alectra.
