United Way Halton and Hamilton creates coronavirus Emergency Fund

United Way Halton and Hamilton has created a coronavirus Emergency Fund to rally support for the most vulnerable.

The fund has been established to back the work of frontline agencies in the community that have been directly affected by COVID-19 and the supports that they provide.

Visit uwhh.ca to access information about local needs, as well as a space to make a donation to support those most vulnerable.

Donations will be distributed directly to community agencies that are working with vulnerable populations, including families under stress in our community.

“By giving through United Way Halton & Hamilton, you can be sure your generosity gets to where it is needed most,” president and CEO Brad Park says. “United Way will be working in collaboration with stakeholders and will consult with key partners to coordinate investments to ensure that your gift is making the biggest impact possible.”
