St. Agnes students get eco-friendly

From wind turbines to low-flow toilets and Energy Star appliances, students in Mrs. Sherrie Savelli’s Grade 5 and 6 class have been learning about eco-friendly lifestyles during their recent studies.

Grade 5 students constructed model homes, demonstrating sources of renewable and non-renewable energy. The students were asked to show how energy could be conserved within a single room in the home.

Meanwhile, Grade 6 students were asked to build a model of an eco-friendly method of producing electricity.
