Daniella Grsic is having a series of book signings for her second children’s story, Lucky Stars, this fall.

The Stoney Creek native, mother of two and St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Elementary School early childhood educator will be holding signings for her 36-page story meant to empower children with skills that will enable them to believe in themselves and know they’re capable of making positive choices from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 23, Oct. 14 and Nov. 11 at Indigo Stoney Creek, 1783 Stone Church Rd. E.; Oct. 21 at Coles in Lime Ridge Mall, 999 Upper Wentworth St.; and Oct. 28 and Nov. 25 at Coles in Eastgate Square, 75 Centennial Pkwy. N.

Lucky Stars is about an intuitive girl named Rebecca whose personal thoughts from a dream navigate her through a number of adventures that provide her with situations where problem-solving skills are necessary to create a solution and find happiness.

The tale demonstrates various scenarios, including an adventure where Rebecca witnesses acts of kindness, one where she takes an active role in solving a problem and one where she realizes a great appreciation for the goodness and love that surrounds her.

Lucky Stars is a followup to Grsic’s first story, Deep Down Inside.
