The full schedule for men’s and women’s baseball for the Pan Am/Parapan Am Games was released.

Baseball fans can now go online and get tickets to watch Team Canada take on some of the strongest teams in the Americas.

Games will be played at the recently upgraded President’s Choice Ajax Pan Am Ballpark.

The men’s team, who were the gold medal winners in the 2011 Pan Am Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, will compete against six other teams including Cuba, the United States and the Dominican Republic.

“Toronto 2015 is an exciting time for Canadian baseball fans, with top talent from throughout the Americas coming to our region,” Saäd Rafi, TO2015 chief executive officer, stated in a press release. “It’s a unique opportunity to watch top-level baseball close to the action in the President’s Choice Ajax Pan Am Ballpark.”

The Canadian men begin defending their title on Saturday, July 11, at 7 p.m., against Dominican Republic.

Team Canada’s women’s team finished fourth at the World Cup last September in Miyazaki, Japan. Five teams will take part in the women’s baseball tournament — Canada, the United States, Venezuela, Cuba and Puerto Rico.

The Team Canada women’s opening game is against Cuba on July 20.
