Wellwood looking for frontline volunteers

Community Jan 09, 2015 Hamilton Mountain News

Wellwood Cancer Resource Centre needs volunteers to help with all its programs and services.

Frontline volunteers are particularly needed at Wellwood’s hospital and community sites to assist in day-to-day operation, with a focus on welcoming current and new clients. Experience with cancer is not required, although it often can enhance our volunteers’ ability to fulfill their roles.

Wellwood is dedicated to helping people live well with cancer and offers free supportive care programs to individuals diagnosed with cancer, their family, friends, caregivers and health-care providers. For information, contact Tsehay at 905-667-8870 or at tsehaysaid@hhsc.ca.
