French Catholic schools open doors to public

Three French Catholic schools in Hamilton are holding open houses.

Monseigneur-de-Laval, a west Mountain elementary school located at 135 Bendamere Ave., will open its doors at March 25 at 7 p.m.

Notre-Dame, 400 Cumberland Ave., will be open March 27 at 7 p.m.

Students in grades 7 and 8 are invited to check out the arts and sports specialty programs at Mère-Teresa, 50 Lisgar Ct., on April 8 at 7 p.m.

"We are very proud to offer these programs to students in Hamilton," said Réjean Sirois, director of education at the Catholic separate school board. “This is a great opportunity for young Catholic Francophones to benefit from excellent and innovative programs beginning in the seventh grade.”
