Volunteers needed for Arthritis Walk Sept. 19

The Arthritis Walk to support the Arthritis Society-Golden Horseshoe Region will take place Saturday, Sept. 19 at 11 a. m. at Bayfront Park.

Volunteer opportunities include greeters, route directors, set-up, registration and first aid.

There are more than 104,000 people (including children) in the Hamilton area who battle one or more of the more than 100 forms of arthritis every day of their lives. There is no cure.

The Arthritis Society’s goal, since its founding in 1948 is a ‘World Without Arthritis.’

The proceeds from the Arthritis Walk will go toward finding a cure for arthritis.
