Ancaster Film Fest screens Where Do We Go Now, the People's Choice Award at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival.

Three films mark world fest

During the Art Gallery of Hamilton BMO World Film Festival, Sept. 21-30, the Ancaster Film Fest will present three films on Monday, Sept. 24 and Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Ancaster Silver City.

On Sept. 24. the Ancaster Film Fest presents Your Sister’s Sister with Emily Blunt at 1 p.m, Where Do We Go Now at 4 p.m. and Moonrise Kingdom at 7:15 p.m. On Wednesday, Sept. 26, Habemus Papem will be presented at 1 p.m.,  The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel at 4 p.m. and Safety Not Guaranteed.

The box office opens at 12:15, 3:15 and 6:15 p.m., respectively. Tickets at the door will cost $10. Tickets and reduced ticket packages can be purchased online at www.aghfilmfest.com. The 10 and 20 ticket packages are recommended as they can be shared The website also contains a full list of the films/events, trailers and descriptions.
 
This is the fourth annual AGH World Film Festival.  Film screenings will blanket the Greater Hamilton area, with venues in downtown Hamilton, west Hamilton and Ancaster.

The screenings will feature some of the best-regarded recent international, independent and Canadian films.  In total, there are over 30 great films and many other special events. 

For those who missed the Ancaster Film Fest’s screenings of The Intouchables, it can be seen on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Empire Theatres at Jackson square.
