Movie night Saturday at William Schwenger Park
The grand opening of a new spray pad at William Schwenger Park is being held Saturday night.
Along with the opening, there will be pony rides, bouncy castles, an inflatable obstacle course, snow cones and cotton candy, clowns, face painting and music, beginning at 6 p.m.
The night concludes with a movie — ‘The Croods’ — on a large inflatable movie screen at dusk.
Coun. Terry Whitehead (Ward 8, west Mountain) is hosting the celebration of the spray pad opening and other recent improvements.
William Schwenger Park is located at 86 Claudette Gate, east of St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School.
