Denninger’s Foods of the World is celebrating its 60th anniversary by inviting guests to “Meat ‘n Greet”celebrity chef Lynn Crawford next Saturday at the downtown Hamilton location.
The popular and passionate Canadian chef, Food Network star, author and restaurant owner, will demonstrate the best ways to prepare the succulent bone-in Tomahawk steak, as well as the Brazilian-inspired Picanha cut. Chef Crawford will be at the 284 King St. E. store from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., where she’ll also be signing copies of her latest cookbook, At Home with Lynn Crawford: 200 of My Favourite Easy Recipes.
Also on June 21, Denninger’s will be sampling many of its own offerings, as well as foods of the world.
Denninger’s was established in 1954 by Rudolf and Frieda Denninger, food merchants from the Black Forest region of Germany who immigrated to Canada with their four children. The business has since expanded to include six locations in the Golden Horseshoe area, employing over 300 people.
