Steeltown Friends of Mohawk Music present guitar legend Larry Carlton in concert with the Mohawk College Faculty Ensemble on March 9 at 8 p.m. in the McIntyre Performing Arts Centre at Mohawk College.
The event is a fundraiser for the college’s music program.
Steeltown Friends of Mohawk Music has been in existence since 2000.
From 11 previous fundraising concerts and special events, SFMM has raised $500,000 for the Mohawk music program providing full-tuition scholarships, the underwriting of celebrity master classes, the sponsoring of student initiatives, the purchasing of musical instruments, and the establishment of three funding endowments.
Tickets are $35 for general admission $35 and $25 for students.
