Girl Guide leaders needed in Hamilton

Girl Guides is alive and well in Ontario, says the national organization, and girl membership is growing. However, in some parts of Hamilton there is a risk young girls will be turned away due to a lack of adult leaders.
Adult volunteers are needed to lead Sparks, Brownies, Guides and Pathfinders and there are several upcoming information sessions to learn more about volunteer opportunities available.
On April 24, there is a session at Fortinos, 65 Mall Rd. On April 28, a session is being held at Church of the Nativity, 1831 King St. East.
There are also sessions April 30 at Fortinos, 102 Hwy. 8, Stoney Creek, and May 6 at Mt. Hope Community Centre, 3027 Homestead Dr.
All sessions run 7-9 p.m.
