Get Together Latin Night held a fundraiser recently to help victims of Hurricane Sandy in Santiago de Cuba. Baseball players from Venezuela attended the event.
The athletes are here to train students and hope to earn scholarships.
Get Together Latin Night runs every Saturday from 9:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. playing Latin music at Get Together Bar and Grill, 253 Kenilworth Ave.
The organization is trying to unite the Latin community in Hamilton, along with all other cultures, by providing a place where people can enjoy Latin culture, music and dancing. There is a $5 cover charge and beginner dance lessons are provided from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. free of charge.
