The novel details the mission to destroy the alien’s Genetic modification system depriving them of new troop types paving the way for human victory and survival. Stephen B. Pearl is a multiple published author whose works range from Post-Apocalyptic science fiction, Tinker's Plague, to Modern Fantasy, Nukekubi, touching on all points between. His writings incorporate real places and focus on the logical consequences of the worlds he crafts.
