    The 9th annual Art By The Lighthouse show and sale of original art takes place August 2 – 3, 2014 on the grounds of the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre on the river's edge. Professional artists from the Niagara region and elsewhere will display paintings, sculpture, jewelry, glasswork, and much more.     Earth Art, also known as “Ephemeral Art”, is an exciting genre of art that has emerged out of the contemporary world’s growing environmental consciousness. Art is created using natural elements – earth, stone, trees, plants, and even ice, and begin a dialogue with nature. Artists (both international and Canadian) arrive on June 15 to create original earth art installations from materials found on RBG's landscape. The installations will be completed on July 1, and the exhibit will run until October 13, 2014. Visitors will be able to attend a Curator’s presentation night, participate in related arts education programs, and enjoy special evening tours. Regular admission applies.
