The event gives pet owners and their dogs the opportunity to make a difference while enjoying a day of fun, friendship and fundraising to make cancer history. What happens at a Bark For Life event? Participants and their canine companions can register to participate in Bark For Life online or offline. Participants are encouraged to raise a minimum of $150 in donations. All registered par-ticipants will receive a bandana for their dog and a "Wag Bag" full of great items. On event day, participants and their canine friends gather for the Opening Ceremony followed by a walk around the park. During their walk, there are fun dog-centered activities including games, mu-sic and treats. The event wraps up with the Closing Ceremony. The entire event takes place over two hours.
