Marritt Hall, Ancaster Fairgrounds - Ancaster
Do you know what Pony Club is?
We are hosting an open house on Saturday, December 15th at 1pm at the Ancaster Fairgrounds, Marritt Hall. We have members ranging from Niagara to Oakville, but the main concentration of our club is in the Hamilton area.
We are a branch of an international organization that is run by parent volunteers and welcome all new interested members from the ages of 6 to 21. This is a club that is specific to learning and particularly those that have a love and passion for horses. Owning or having access to a horse or pony helps, but is not a requirement. We do not teach riding, but rather, teach the care behind the horse. How to take care of your tack, bandage correctly, conformation, nutrition and many other behind the scenes topics.
This is a very hands on club, where we have a badge program that the members work towards, offer many education classes and field trips. We also have our own swim, running and shooting coaches for Tetrathlon training.
Please come visit us at our open house, take a look at our learning manuals, meet our members and watch them present their projects for their next badge, have a snack, and make a free horsey craft!
Please Google “Pony Club” to get a better idea of what we are all about and check out our club website at:
