The Duet Club of Hamilton marks its 125th anniversary this year with a concert planned for Sunday, April 13, at Melrose United Church.

Duet Club tunes up for anniversary concert

The longest running musical club of its kind in Canada, the Duet Club of Hamilton marks its 125th anniversary this year.

To mark the occasion, an anniversary concert is planned for Sunday, April 13, 2:30 p.m. at Melrose United Church, Hamilton.  The Duet Club chorus, directed by Stephane Potvin, will host two choirs with close ties — Kokoro, directed by Brenda Uchimaru, and the Hamilton Children’s Choir Esprimas, directed by Melanie Tellez).  All three choirs will combine to perform the finale, Hymn to Freedom, by Ocsar Peterson.
