In March and April, Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Hamilton and Burlington is challenging individuals and companies to “step up and strike out bullying” by participating in its annual Tim Hortons Bowl for Kids Sake fundraiser. BBBS of Hamilton and Burlington has a fundraising goal of $100,000, which will be used to provide services and supplies to mentor over 2,000 children in 2013.
It’s being held at Splitsville, 1525 Stone Church Rd. East, on March 20 (6-8 p.m.; funny/silly-themed bowl), March 21 (6-8 p.m.; sports-themed bowl), and March 23 – 2-4 p.m. – country-themed bowl).
