A Candlelight Noel heralds the holiday season

The annual service of lessons and carols, A Candlelight Noel, takes place on Sunday, Dec. 16, 7 p.m., St. Paul’s United Church in Dundas.

A Candlelight Noel is a service of seven traditional Christmas scripture readings, along with congregational singing of many well-loved Christmas carols. The evening includes many new and familiar Christmas selections, sung by the Celestial Singers, a children’s choir, and by the Chancel Choir and friends. St. Paul’s Handbell Ringers will also be participating. Violin, trumpet and guitar complete the musical menu.

Fredric DeVries, director of music, Rev. Richard Spies, minister, and Rev. Merrill Graham, minister emeritus will lead the service. More than 70 members of the community participate to put on this annual presentation.
St. Paul’s is fully wheelchair accessible and all are welcome.
