Second Road West

A speed hump and speed watch have been installed in response to traffic concerns on Second Road West. More traffic-calming measures are on the way.

King and Centennial

The corner of King Street and Centennial Parkway will be open to commuters the next two weekends, but will be closed to traffic the weekend of Sept. 11 to 14 for asphalt work.

Noah Boin at nationals

Noah Boin finished in the top 15 of the 300-metre sprint at the Legion National Youth Track and Field Championships Aug. 8 and 9 in Sainte-Thérèse, Que., racing his way to a personal best time of 39.25. The 15-year-old Winona native also placed in the top 25 of the 200-metre sprint, running a personal best time of 24.75. It was his first trip to nationals.
