The Hamilton Wildcats Novice boys team recently travelled to Brantford to compete in their first tournament of the season, the Paul Mitchell Invitational Tournament.
The boys played well against teams from Hamilton, Niagara Falls, Grimsby and Mississauga and finished their round robin play with a 2-1 record. In the semi-finals, the Wildcats emerged victorious after a close, hard-fought game. In the finals, they faced a tough rival from Mississauga and eventually claimed the silver medal.
