What a great holiday season for this group of 12-year-olds from Stoney Creek.

The boys got together just before Christmas and spent time together wrapping presents for a family of five they adopted through the Interval House Program. Presents were bought for mom and kids and were wrapped by the boys to help them better understand helping in our community.

They then went to the Wayne Gretzky International Hockey Tournament to win the Peewee Championship. With only seven goals-against in six games, going 5 and 1, they played some outstanding team hockey, beating the home side Brantford 5-1 in the final. They had the pleasure of getting their picture with Walter Gretzky and chatting with the hockey icon.

Team members are Tyler Bridgman, Davis Christman, Cooper Gordan Lindsay, Luc Luneau, Lukas Brockway, Matthew Rocci, Lucas Aceti, Jaiden Lumb, Kristian Carbone, Ethan Cripps, Christian Frankovich, Nick Vacca, Peyton Jagusic, Danny Rosati, Justin Ivetac and Evan Scott. The team is coached by Anthony Caruso, Dan Del Monache, Tony Aceti, Scott Brockway and John Jagusic.
