The annual Central Ontario Boat Show and Sale returns to the Careport Centre for the Family Day weekend.
The annual Central Ontario Boat Show and Sale is the perfect family outing that will be sure to amaze every member on Family Day weekend.
During the chilly winters in Ontario, most families yearn for the moment when they will be able to enjoy time together on the water. The boat show helps families live the dream by showcasing boats, boating accessories and services, seminars and more. It runs Friday, Feb. 17 and runs straight through the holiday, Monday, Feb. 20.
“The show is just packed this year and we hope to hit as many as 300 different boats,” said Dwayne McKillop, president of Continuum Productions.
Dealers are coming to Hamilton from as far west as Chatham, as far east as Peterborough, as far north as Bracebridge and south to Fort Erie.
Boaters and those who wish to adopt the carefree lifestyle can find everything they need, from life-jackets to shatter-proof dishes to rafts, from a number of booths located in the Mariner’s Marketplace.
As important as it is to have all the boating necessities, it is also extremely important to be safe and understand proper boat handling techniques, said McKillop.
“That’s why we have introduced the Central Ontario Boat Show and Sale Seminar Stage this year,” he said. “We are pleased to announce that Boat Guide Canada has partnered with us to promote this great feature.”
Boating experts in all aspects of boating are coming together to deliver complete and comprehensive information on boating safely, boat buying basics, boat handling and more.
The boat show takes place at the Careport Centre, 270 Longwood Rd. S., Hamilton.
